Michael is a 6’1″ 160 lb. 2016 point guard. He can play a pass first style of offense or fill it up if he needs to. He also takes pride in his defense and rebounding. He has a 3.85 GPA in Pre-AP classes and scored 31 on the ACT.

Michael began competitive basketball at the age of 9 in George Lynch's Flight Nine Academy. Coach Lynch, who won an NCAA championship under Dean Smith at North Carolina and played 13 years in the NBA, stressed rugged defense, rebounding and ball handling.  That's why you will see in his highlights a 6'1" point guard going into the paint getting rebounds, blocking shots and fighting his man all the way to the bucket on defense.

Michael currently plays in the Nike Team Texas organization for Vic Cochran, a former coach from the Flight Nine Academy and one of the most well known and respected coaches in the DFW area. Michael excels in Coach Cochran's motion based offense and pressure defense where he can use his speed and quickness to get and hit open shots and disrupt opponent's passing lanes.
